Phillip Phillips Wins American Idol 2012 - American Idol 2012 has finished. The man from Georgia, Phillip Phillips emerged as the winner in the talent show that this year is the eleventh season.

Phillip managed to beat fellow finalists Jessica Sanchez after pocketing 132 million votes. 21-year-old man was considered to have a unique sound character and very energetic.


His action on the final night, May 23, 2012 Phillip appeared to sing the song 'Home'. The song is the first single that is made by Phillip creation and assisted  by Drew Pearson and Greg Holden. Phillip sings while holding acoustic guitar on the final night.

"He was like a young James Brown," said the judge Jennifer Lopez to Phillip.

Not only Jennifer, two other judges Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler likes the character of Phillip. When Philip was auditioned, he stirred Steven hearts for bringing an acoustic version of 'Thriller' Michael Jackson and 'Superstition' Stevie Wonder's with brilliant.

He also managed to bring the songs of singer's cross genres like James Brown, Phil Collins, Genesis, Maroon 5 and Usher.

Phillip who grew up in Georgia never thought would be a singer. He graduated from Albany Technical College majoring in Industrial Systems Technology. Unfortunately he did not attend the graduation ceremony for American Idol quarantine.
