Actress Barbara Billingsley who is known as a star in the 1950s and 1960s family-oriented American television situation comedy, Leave It to Beaver died Saturday. She died at the age of 94 years.
According to Judy Twersky, a spokesman for the family of Barbara Billingsley, Barbara died because of suffering a rheumatoid disease. Her health was worse in recent years until finally Barbara died at her home in Santa Monica, California.
Barbara was born on December 22, 1915 in Los Angeles, California with her full name Barbara Lillian Combes. In 1947, Barbara divorce with her husband Glenn Billingsley, but she still uses Billingsley as her professional name. With his first husband, she was given 2 children namely Drew and Glenn, Jr.
In her acting career, Barbara Billingsley already played in several films, but a family-oriented American television situation comedy called Leave It to Beaver made her name more famous.
