Christina Aguilera national anthem super bowl – As we know one of the popular celebrities and singers, Christina Aguilera, has the chance to sing the Super Bowl XLV 2011 national anthem, but unfortunately she screw up the lyrics.
Christina Aguilera did mistake on the fourth line, which should have been: “O'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming?”
But Christina sang: “What so proudly we (garbled) at the twilight’s last gleaming.”
When the Star Spangled Banner finished to be wrapped, Christina Aguilera headed backstage with the condition of "devastated." She knows she messed up big time. Although everyone tell her, she looks great in her performance but she knows the truth. And she doesn't want anyone around her.
In response to the problem, Christina Aguilera has spoken out about her major mistake singing the national anthem at the Super Bowl. In a statement to the AP after the performance, Aguilera said, "I can only hope that everyone could feel my love for this country and that the true spirit of its anthem still came through”.
