Chrome for Android Without Flash Support

Chrome for Android Without Flash Support - Google has released Chrome browser for Android, although it still in beta version. Related to that, Adobe give their state again that they no longer provide Flash support for mobile devices.

What Adobe said in accordance with their announcement in November 2011 that the development of Flash for mobile has been discontinued, only few updates that still be given to fix bugs.



Chrome for Android that is released yesterday is still in beta and does not have Flash support. Conversely, if you are looking for Flash content, then Adobe recommend to use the native Android browser.

Adobe is still continuing Flash platform project but only relate to their AIR technology. For interactive web content, Adobe will focus on HTML5 using. It is clear that Chrome for Android does not support Flash.

Adobe projects in the future related to the Flash on mobile devices will focus on empowering Flash developers so they can make native apps with Adobe AIR app for all the existing stores. Adobe no longer uses Flash Player for mobile devices in the browser, OS and device configuration of new models. Some of the licensor source code may choose to continue using the Flash Player version and release them.
