Unlike the bloggers or website users who very concerned about the condition of their PageRank, Google seems to still “suggest” to all owners of websites or blogs to not much worry about PageRank. Like Google's Susan Moscow explained
“We've been telling people for a long time that they shouldn't focus on PageRank so much; many site owners seem to think it's the most important metric for them to track, which is simply not true. We removed it because we felt it was silly to tell people not to think about it, but then to show them the data, implying that they should look at it. :-)”
However, most SEOs, webmasters, bloggers and others do not listen or hear it. They think SEO is all about PageRank. If Google tells us that not much thought about PageRank, why they just not eliminate it? The answer is marketing reasons.
