Jamie is one of four young women who were photographed by Time for the cover story She tells how to apply the techniques of breastfeeding for both children who are old enough. One was Samuel who was 5 years old and he is adopted from Ethiopia , November 2010.
This Los Angeles ’s woman also criticized those who argue that her feeding technique is not appropriate. The reason, she herself also was given breastfeeding by her mother until the age of 6 years and it gave her confidence as a child. Jamie believes do not have to criticize the way of parents in treating their children.
"When the criticism is made by the analysis who are not educated (in the absence of personal experience) really hurt all women who want to care for her children," she wrote in her blog responding to criticism. "Being a mother is difficult enough when heard that the way of caring for a child is 'strange' or make people 'uncomfortable'. It's too much."
