ASUS Transformer Prime Officially Released - One of the new Android tablets that is released in the end of 2011 is the ASUS Transformer Prime. Last October, the highest leader in ASUS, Jonney Shih has introduced the Transformer Prime as the first Android tablet that is run by the latest generation processor chip quad-core Tegra 3 Kal-El made by NVIDIA.
Now as promised, Asus Transformer Prime officially released on November 9, 2011. This latest Android tablet which is a next generation of Transformer original has a cool design with a thin body and the impression of luxury and sturdy. Unlike Transformers original, Transformer Prime made with various upgrades both in terms of hardware and software.
ASUS Transformer Prime has a display 10.1 inches with a resolution of 1280? 800 Super IPS Corning Gorilla Glass. As you would expect, the ASUS install quad-core processor Nvidia Tegra 3 in it, combined with 1GB of RAM and a choice of 32GB or 64GB of internal storage. On the front you can get 1.2MP camera and on the back there is an 8MP camera equipped with LED flash that can record full 1080p HD video.
ASUS also assured despite it’s release with Android 3.2 Honeycomb, but in early December you will be able to get latest version of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwiches that is provided via OTA updates. ASUS also includes supporting applications such as Office SuperNote and Polaris.
Prime Transformer released at a price of $ 500 for the 32GB model and $ 600 for the 64GB model. If you want a keyboard dock, ASUS sell it separately for $ 150
