Surface, New Tablet PC from Microsost - Veil of mystery about the tablet PC from Microsoft is finally revealed. The big manufacturer of software officially introduced the surface, their tablet PC.

CEO Steve Ballmer unveiled Microsoft Surface in Los Angeles, United States. This device has a thickness of 9.3 millimeters, weighs 1.5 pounds and comes with a 10.6 inch wide gorilla glass.

"We want to give Windows 8 devices that belong to our own innovative," said Ballmer, about the reasons why Microsoft is also making the tablet PC.

"A new device, in contrast, comes from the line of Microsoft computer software series," he continued.


Surface itself comes with several variants. There are Windows RT and Windows 8. For Windows RT serial, it will be strengthened with ARM microchip, and the storage of 32 GB and 64 GB. While the Windows 8 version use the Intel chip and a choice of 64 GB storage and 128 GB.

Another feature of the Surface is equipped with a USB port, dual WiFi antenna, multitouch keyboard, and trackpad. It’s still unclear how much the selling price of each product.

"Microsoft founder Bill Gates and Paul Allen has made a huge gamble in affairs of the software. But we also continue to encourage innovation about the hardware, which sometimes manufacturers have not done so," said Ballmer
